Property

Buying property is one of the biggest commitments, particularly financially, that most of us will ever make.

The whole experience can seem daunting and stressful, but at Bingham Long we provide a fuss-free, simple service to assist you in your journey to purchase/sell property at an agreed fixed fee.

What is conveyancing?

Conveyancing covers the scope of work needed to carry out all administrative and legal work required to transfer property ownership from the seller to the buyer.

The conveyancing process usually begins once the buyer has made an offer on a property that has been accepted by the seller. The conveyancing process is finished once all of the contracts have been signed, money has been transferred accordingly, the Stamp Duty has been paid and the Land Registry has sent a copy of the necessary legal documents to the buyer’s conveyancing solicitor.
